One important value in the Lupus Consutling´s organizational culture is to build up talents and help them to grow within the company. In Budapest, this approach contributed to our organic employee growth. In 2019, five young professionals joined the company, working in different service lines. However, the capital city is in a quite intensive war for talents and this initiated the strategic decision to attract more job starters to our office in Debrecen. Debrecen, the respectable, developing university city is a perfect location for this. The city has all the amenities of a bigger city, but with regards to hiring young talents, there is less competition compared to Budapest. The Lupus approach to attract the graduates is build on two main pillars:
• The close and trusted cooperation with the Univerity of Debrecen and
• the Lupus Consulting Junior Program.
Lectures on the SAP programming have been part of the Master courses already. However, the lessons just scratched on the surface of ABAP so far. In order to provide a deeper insight, Lupus took over 2 lessons per semester to teach ABAP OO, Classification System, and Query Development in an interactive hands-on approach. The course is led by Senior Developer Nandor Nagy, who has been working for Lupus for more than 4 years. Furthermore, Lupus agreed with the University to launch a comprehensive SAP Workshop for the Faculty of Informatics. In this workshop, Lupus is teaching all aspects, including the needed ABAP knowledge, to pass the SAP NetWeaver 7.40 Certification.
The participation in the Lupus Junior Program is a huge opportunity for the students, since only SAP consulting companies and paid courses can educate in this extent. So far, the program is available for the Business Informatics and Computer Science courses , aiming to offer this opportunity to all the students in the Faculty of Informatics. Due to the wide range of knowledge and complexity, the Junior Program is divided into three semesters. Within the first semester, a Professor of the University is taking over the lessons. In the second and third semesters, Lupus is educating the students.

The students will pick up all the knowledge needed to pass the certification. In addition to the lessons, the university covers all the costs for the certification. Being certificated is a big plus on the job market and a door opener to the SAP world. One option is to apply for the Lupus Trainee Program to become a SAP Consultant or SAP Developer.
