    European Expansion & Global Partnerships Lupus Consulting

    The early 2000s marked the beginning of our journey. In 2002, we laid the foundation for what would become a leading European consulting company. Our vision was clear: to bridge the gap between expertise and innovation, offering businesses high-quality IT solutions. By 2005, we took a major step forward, launching our near-shore development center in Budapest—an essential milestone that set the stage for our future expansion.

    Strengthening AMO & Nearshore Growth

    With demand rising, we established an Application Management Outsourcing (AMO) Center in Budapest and opened our German office in 2007. In 2008, we expanded globally by partnering with ABeam Consulting in Tokyo. By 2010, our near-shore and AMO services had become essential to European and global corporations.

    European Expansion & Global Partnerships

    In 2012, we took our AMO Center in Budapest to the next level, expanding near-shore services across DACH and Central Europe while making our mark in Poland. By 2014, our expertise and reliability secured major AMO contracts, earning us the role of ABeam’s European delivery hub. Riding this momentum, we established our Netherlands office in 2015, further strengthening our presence and expanding into Java and .Net development to meet evolving market needs.

    Diversification & Technology Expansion

    In 2016, we redefined custom B2B solutions with our AppFactory approach, streamlining development for greater efficiency and scalability. By 2017, we fully embraced agile development, growing our team to 160+ professionals and launching a near-shore development center in Debrecen. The momentum continued in 2018, as we introduced our Atlassian service line, secured major projects in the finance and oil industries, and successfully delivered our first S/4HANA projects—marking another milestone in our expansion.

    Resilience & Strategic Expansion

    Despite the challenges of 2020, we continued organic growth, expanded our Debrecen center, and saw increasing demand for BI and data services. In 2021, we strengthened our SAP PLM expertise, integrated Salesforce, and launched the Atlassian Junior Program in Debrecen.
    Since its launch, the Junior Program has become a key part of Lupus Consulting. It’s not just about shaping the careers of talented young professionals—it’s also about the energy, fresh perspectives, and motivation they bring to our team, fueling innovation and growth on both sides.

    Global Reach & Strategic Focus

    In 2023, we reached a major milestone—becoming an Atlassian Platinum Partner, a testament to our expertise and commitment. At the same time, we expanded into LATAM, tapping into new opportunities and setting our sights on Supply-Chain-Planning and Extended Warehouse Management (eWM) as strategic focus areas. The momentum carried into 2024, as we opened new offices in Curitiba and Madrid, strengthening our global footprint and launching junior programs in both locations to nurture the next generation of talent.

      Axel Zott

      Axel Zott

      Founder

      Axel began his career at major consulting firms, first as an SAP consultant and later in management consulting, before returning to SAP. With over 20 years of experience in SAP, IT, and business consulting, he combines deep expertise with a keen eye on current and emerging trends.

      At Lupus, Axel values working with top technical experts in flat hierarchies and short communication channels—delivering results flexibly and without bureaucracy.

      In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, scuba diving, skiing, and dining with family and friends.

      Mihály Bődy

      Mihály Bődy

      Mihály began his career in 1990 as a professional handball player, competing nationally and internationally for over a decade. Alongside his sports career, he earned a degree in Economic Sciences at Budapest University and joined a leading consulting firm, advising pharmaceutical and telecommunications companies.

      Since 1998, Mihály has specialized in SAP, working as consultant, project manager, and later as Head of IT at a major telecom provider. Over the years, he has built deep expertise across the manufacturing, utilities, and telecommunications industries.
      His mission is to help clients achieve a lasting competitive edge through innovative services.

      Outside of work, Mihály enjoys fishing and spending time in nature with his family.

      In 1997, he started his career as IT-Consultant focussing on ERP implementations for small and medium-sized enterprises. Joining one of the big four consulting companies in 2004, his focus switched to delivering SAP projects across Europe for large enterprises, mainly in the field of Data Migration, Master Data Management and Cutover.

      For Holger it is most important to be acknowledged as a trusted advisor, reliable and down-to-earth business partner for his customers and peers.

      In his private life Holger is a passionate dancer. He also is crazy about his dogs, a Leonberger and a Bernese mountain dog cross-breed.

      Horváth András Zoltán

      Andras began his SAP career as a developer in 1999, spending several years in Switzerland before returning to Hungary as Director of Technology at a global SAP consultancy.

      Today, he leads the Lupus Development Centre and oversees more than 60 SAP developers as Service Line Lead. With extensive project experience in Switzerland, Austria, and Germany, he speaks fluent German and English and understands the specific needs of midsize and large companies in the DACH region.

      For Andras, Lupus combines international professionalism with the agility of an owner-managed company at the heart of Europe.

      In his private life, Andras enjoys motorcycling, obstacle courses, and was once part of a show-jumping team. In 2018, he proudly became a Spartan runner.

      Jozsef began his career in academia as a computer science researcher before moving into SAP consulting in the 1990s, focusing on logistics projects in public transportation and energy.

      In 2001, he became Head of ERP Service Line at a global IT consultancy, responsible for project delivery, resources, and profitability.

      Today, Jozsef serves as Chief Operating Officer at Lupus, overseeing project delivery, financials, and internal processes. For him, Lupus means shaping a company built on reliability, fairness, and competence—for both clients and employees.
      Outside of work, Jozsef enjoys skiing and hiking with his family.
